Suspicious Behaviour Sparks Police Action
Plain clothes officers struck gold during a patrol in Tunbridge Wells. On July 28, 2022, the community policing team spotted a man acting suspiciously near an alleyway on Grosvenor Road.
Quick Arrest Yields Cocaine and Cash
The officers detained the man and searched him. They discovered a mobile phone, 25 wraps of cocaine, and £500 in cash. The suspect was promptly arrested on the spot.
Man Charged with Intent to Supply
Eduart Cengu, 21, of no fixed address, now faces serious charges of cocaine possession with intent to supply. He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day and has been remanded to Maidstone Crown Court for a hearing on August 26.
