Two Arrested in Glasgow Human Trafficking Crackdown
The Greater Glasgow Human Trafficking Unit has made a major move. On Friday, September 27, 2024, they arrested two suspects linked to human trafficking across the city. The haul: a 28-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman.
Suspects to Face Court
Both are due in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 30. Charged with human trafficking offences, cops haven’t revealed exact details yet. But the arrests come after a lengthy probe into exploitation activities in Glasgow.

“We are committed to working with our partners to track those involved in this crime,” said Detective Inspector Grant Currie. “Protecting vulnerable people is our top priority.”
He stressed the vital role of public cooperation. “Information from the community is key to catching offenders and ending these crimes,” DI Currie added.
