Two Charged Over Crawley Stabbing Horror

Police have arrested and charged two people following a stabbing in Crawley on Saturday, June 22.

Victim Rushed to Hospital in Serious Condition

Emergency crews were called to Dalewood Gardens around 4pm after reports a man had been stabbed. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital with serious injuries. Thankfully, the victim is now in stable condition.

Crawley Duo Held and Charged with Attempted Murder

Within hours, cops swooped and arrested Steven Finn, 45, of North Road, and Rebecca Smith, 45, from Dalewood Gardens. Both have been charged with attempted murder. They remain in custody and are due in Lewes Crown Court on July 22.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Garman said, “This was an extremely serious incident met with the robust emergency response it deserved. We acted swiftly and brought two suspects into custody. Thanks to the community for their patience during our investigation over the weekend.”
