Two Men arrested as Man fights for Life after being Stabbed in Neck in Portsmouth

Police have arrested two men following a serious assault in Portsmouth in the early hours of this morning. He is currently in a critical condition. As a result of the investigation some road have been closed. St Mary’s Road from Woodlands Street and parts of Kingston Road and Lake Road itself are all closed to traffic and pedestrians. Fratton Road has been reopened. Police continue to search the nearby St Mary’s church, a flat and the grounds of the Portsmouth Girls School. Police understand that these closures have caused significant inconvenience to those living and working in the area and we would like to apologise for that and thank people for their patience.
