Two charged after terrifying aggravated burglary leaves woman seriously injured in Swindon
Burglary in Park North
Martin Coombs, 24, and Jay Stokes, 31, have been charged following an aggravated burglary at Verwood Close, Park North on November 29. A woman in her 30s was seriously hurt during the ordeal.
Serious charges and court date
The pair face charges of aggravated burglary and section 18 grievous bodily harm. Coombs, from Somerville Road, Walcot, and Stokes, from Hallam Moor, Swindon, were remanded in custody.
Next stop: Swindon Magistrates’ Court
Both men are set to appear in court today (December 8) as the case moves forward.
