Two Men Charged Over Brutal Prison Officer Attack at HMP Whitemoor
Two prison officers have been charged after a violent assault at HMP Whitemoor on 9 January. Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Macaulay Hockton, 26, both serving with Her Majesty’s Prison Service, face serious charges following the attack.
Attempted Murder Charges Laid
On Tuesday, 3 March, both men were charged with attempted murder. Ziamani faces extra charges of actual bodily harm (ABH) and common assault for attacking two other prison officers in separate incidents.
Court Date Set for Early March
The duo are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 1 and 4 March to answer the charges.
