Two men have been charged over the shocking stabbing death of 24-year-old Jonah Ho-Shue in Hornsey.

Shock Murder on Albert Road

Jonah Ho-Shue was fatally stabbed once on the evening of Thursday, 4 January 2024, in Hornsey’s Albert Road. The young man’s tragic death sent shockwaves through the local community.

Suspects Nabbed and Charged

James Thompson, 24, from Barnet, and Dante Ashley, 25, from Haringey, have been formally charged with Jonah’s murder. Both were arrested shortly after the killing and appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 4 February.

Ongoing Investigation and New Charges

  • Initially, both men were released on conditional bail.
  • The Met’s Crime Command detectives are leading the high-profile investigation.
  • On 3 February, Dante Ashley faced an additional charge of perverting the course of justice.
