Two Men Charged Over Shocking Sexual Offences in Newbury

Thames Valley Police have charged two men following a major investigation into serious sex crimes. Adam Hastings, 28, from Kington St. Michael, Chippenham, faces multiple charges including four counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Reece Upton, also 28, from Gloucester, is charged with one count each of rape, sexual assault, and sexual activity in the presence of a child.

Alleged Offences Span Nearly Two Months

The alleged crimes took place in Newbury between April 21 and June 13. Both men were brought before Oxford Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning. They have been remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on July 26.
