Two Men Guilty in Shocking Killing of Reanne Coulson
Brutal Attack Ends in Tragedy
Two men have been convicted over the savage death of Reanne Coulson, 33, whose body was horrifically buried in a shallow grave on Coventry’s outskirts. Reanne suffered a violent attack inside a flat before disappearing.
She was last seen near Coventry city centre at a church support group around 10pm on 21 May 2025. Just an hour later, a witness reported hearing a woman’s scream from Mohammed Durnion’s nearby flat.
Police searched the property after a frantic 999 call but found no trace of Reanne. Her remains were only uncovered more than five weeks later, on 27 June, hidden in woodland at Binley Woods, Coventry.
Guilty Verdict After Intense Trial
On 24 March 2026, Warwick Crown Court found Mohammed Durnion, 42, guilty of manslaughter. Adam Moore, 39, was convicted of assisting an offender by helping dispose of the body.
Durnion lied, blaming Reanne’s death on a drug overdose during an argument. Moore insisted he only went to Binley Woods to check on Durnion’s mental health. The jury saw through their lies.
Prosecution Hits Back
Giovanni D’Alessandro of the Crown Prosecution Service said: “This was an act that cruelly cut short the life of an innocent woman. Mohammed Durnion killed Reanne and then tried to dispose of her body to escape justice. Adam Moore helped him do it. Neither showed any remorse or accepted responsibility, forcing Reanne’s family to relive this nightmare in court.”
“Thanks to CCTV, phone records, witness testimony, and forensic evidence, the jury was left in no doubt of their guilt. Our thoughts remain with Reanne’s family, who have shown immense courage. We hope this verdict brings them some justice.”
Both men await sentencing, as justice edges closer for Reanne Coulson and her grieving family.
