Stabbing Shocker in Rochester Flat
A sharp-eyed member of the public spotted blood splattered on a flat door in The Fairway, Rochester, and alerted Kent Police at 5.30pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
Man Found with Serious Stab Wounds
Police rushed to the scene to find a man suffering stab wounds to his head and hand, along with other assault injuries. He was rushed to hospital and remains there receiving treatment.
Two Arrested and Charged Over Brutal Attack
Officers arrested Lewis Barovbe, 25, of no fixed address, and Stephen Gillard, 32, from Trevale Road, Rochester. Both were hit with charges of grievous bodily harm with intent on Monday, July 11.
The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day and have been remanded until their Crown Court hearing at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone on Monday, August 8.
