Predator Paedophile Paul Lee Jailed for Beastly Crimes Against Young Girl

Paul Lee, 80, targeted a young girl multiple times around a decade ago. He forced her to pose for photos and subjected her to horrific sexual abuse.

The victim finally spoke out years later, telling a school staff member about the nightmare she endured.

Shocking Discovery at Lee’s Home

Lee was arrested just two days after the allegations came to light. Police raided his home near Newark and uncovered disturbing evidence.

  • Explicit paintings showing abuse of the girl
  • Mannequins – both adult and child-sized – dressed in sexualised underwear
  • Extreme pornographic material on seized electronic devices

Officers also found a shotgun at the property, which Lee possessed without a certificate.

Guilty Plea and Heavy Sentence

Lee, once from Moor Lane, South Clifton, refused to comment during three police interviews. But he eventually pleaded guilty to multiple crimes, including:

  • Inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
  • Making indecent photographs of a child
  • Possession of prohibited images of a child
  • Possession of extreme pornography
  • Possession of an unlicensed shotgun

At Nottingham Crown Court, he was sentenced to seven years and 10 months behind bars. He will serve an additional four years on extended licence once released.

Police Praise Victim’s Bravery

“Lee is a predatory sex offender who committed truly appalling offences against a primary school-age child,” said Detective Constable Laura Manley of Nottinghamshire Police.

“The victim showed amazing courage by coming forward, helping bring Lee to justice. Without her bravery, he might have remained at large, putting other children at risk.

“His detailed evidence left Lee no choice but to admit guilt. I hope this sentence serves as a warning to anyone abusing children.”

“We will find you, arrest you, and do whatever it takes to bring you to justice.”
