Two Held Over Fatal Stabbing at Birmingham Nightclub
Kami Carpenter, 21, and Remy Gordon, 22, both from Birmingham, have been remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on January 2nd.
Tragic Night at Digbeth’s Crane Nightclub
The arrests follow the stabbing of 23-year-old Cody Fisher just before 11:45 p.m. on December 26. The incident took place at the Crane nightclub in Digbeth, where Cody was working.
Ongoing Probe and More Arrests
- A 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of Cody’s murder has been released on bail.
- Four others arrested for assisting an offender have also been bailed.
“This is a significant development in our investigation as we work to bring Cody, his family, and friends justice,” said West Midlands Police Detective Chief Inspector Ian Ingram.
“We’ve received tremendous public support, which has greatly aided us in investigations thus far. We are still eager to hear from anyone with information who has not already contacted us. Every piece of information contributes to our investigation.”
Nightclub Licence Revoked
The Crane nightclub has had its licence revoked following the stabbing incident.
