Miracle Escape: Two Walk Away Unscathed from Snodsbury Helicopter Crash
Two people have been described as “incredibly lucky” after a helicopter crash landed in a Worcestershire field – and both walked away without serious injuries.
Crash Near Naunton Road Startles Locals
Emergency services were scrambled to a field beside Naunton Road in Naunton Beauchamp, Upper Snodsbury, at 1.54pm today following reports of a helicopter crash.
West Midlands Ambulance Service, along with a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, rushed to the alarming scene.
Passengers Escape Serious Harm
On arrival, the crew found both occupants – a man and a woman – already out of the wreckage and sitting safely away from the helicopter.
The woman was treated for back and abdominal pain and given pain relief before being taken by land ambulance to the Royal Hospital.
The man walked away with minor bumps and bruises and was discharged right from the scene.
“Given the incident had the potential for a far more serious outcome, it is pleasing that both patients have been incredibly lucky to walk away relatively unhurt,” said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman.
Lucky Survivors Defy The Odds
What could have been a tragic accident turned into a miraculous escape, leaving locals relieved and emergency crews praising the lucky occupants’ fortune.
