Police swooped on a suspicious scene in Milton Street early Tuesday morning, March 1, after reports of odd noises inside a home.
Officers arrived quickly and caught two men hanging around outside. A Police Community Support Officer had already responded to the tip-off. On the spot, cops seized a haul of jewellery, ornaments, and other valuables.
Two Men Nabbed for Burglary
The suspects, 37-year-old Rafal Drzewiecki and 47-year-old Krzystof Kancinski, both with no fixed address, were charged with burglary.
Remanded in Custody for Court Appearance
Drzewiecki and Kancinski were held in custody and set to face Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 2.
