Shopkeeper Stabbed in Broad Daylight in Hackney
A shopkeeper has been rushed to hospital after a brutal stabbing in broad daylight on Marlborough Avenue, East London.
Attack Sparks Emergency Response
At around 4.40pm on March 22, emergency services were scrambled to the scene following reports of an assault. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were joined by air ambulance doctors, who treated the victim for a serious stab wound.
Man Arrested for Attempted Murder
Police arrested a 37-year-old man at the scene on charges of attempted murder. Officers from the Met Police attended swiftly alongside medics to secure the area and assist the victim.
Victim’s Condition Unknown
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:
“Police were called to Marlborough Avenue, Hackney, at 4.38pm on Monday following reports of an assault. Officers found a man believed to be 54, who had been stabbed. He has been taken to an East London hospital and we await an update on his condition. A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene.”
The community remains shaken as police continue to investigate the stabbing incident.
