Woman Plunges into Thames from London Bridge – Rescue Operation Underway
Emergency services launched a frantic search after a woman was spotted jumping into the River Thames from London Bridge on Tuesday evening.
Search Intensifies as Woman Remains Missing
Police were called at around 5pm on 19 November following reports from witnesses. The Marine Policing Unit and a police helicopter quickly joined the hunt. Despite an intense search, the woman has yet to be found.
Police Launch Investigation and Ask for Public Help
The Metropolitan Police confirmed investigations are ongoing to understand why the woman jumped. A spokesperson said, “This is a tragic and distressing situation. Our thoughts are with those who may be affected by this incident. We are continuing to explore all avenues to locate the individual.”
Officers are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward by calling 101.
