Patrols carried out a search of nearby areas, which was assisted by Police Dog Cliff. At around 1am, PD Cliff successfully tracked two people believed to have been in the car who were located in a field.

The suspects, aged 17 and 19 from Abbey Wood, London were arrested on suspicion of offences including theft, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police. Both are currently bailed, pending further enquiries.
