Teen Brawl at Superdrug Shakes East Street

Police rushed to Superdrug on East Street at 3.30pm after reports of a scuffle.

Officers found a 15-year-old Worthing boy handcuffed by private security on the scene. He was promptly arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police then detained a 16-year-old boy from Chichester nearby. He faces assault, cannabis possession, and using threatening or abusive language charges linked to the incident.

Both lads have been bailed with strict conditions until 24 June while investigations continue.

Authorities are combing through footage and witness statements to get to the bottom of the fracas.

Sussex Police has contacted the 15-year-old’s mother and will keep in touch as the case unfolds,” said a spokesperson.
