Mother and Grandma Shot Dead Outside Valentine’s Day Pub

A tragic murder unfolded on Valentine’s Day as Lisa Smith, 43, was fatally shot outside a pub in Kent. The mum and grandmother died from a gunshot wound to the neck, an inquest has revealed.

Who Was Lisa Smith?

Lisa Smith was gunned down in the car park of The Three Horseshoes pub on Main Road, Knockholt, near Sevenoaks, on Friday, February 14. The inquest, held at Oakwood House in Maidstone, confirmed the cause of death as a 1A gunshot wound to the neck.

Originally from Sheerness, Lisa was married and resided in Walton Lane, Berkshire. Her shocking death has left her family heartbroken.

Manhunt for Partner Suspected in Killing

The prime suspect is Lisa’s partner, Edvard Stockings. Police launched a manhunt after tracing a vehicle linked to the shooting, discovered along with a firearm near the Dartford Crossing just before midnight on the night of the murder.

Detective Chief Inspector David Higham said he has “total confidence” Stockings drowned after reportedly falling into the river.

“At around midday on Saturday, we had a sighting of a body. Unfortunately, we were unable to recover it before it became submerged again, but I am confident from the description that it is the suspect for our offence.”

Lisa’s loved ones have paid moving tributes online. Her son, Teejay, said:

“My dear old mum, never be another to walk in her shoes, the best.”

Other messages flooded social media:

  • “RIP Lisa. May God give you the best bed in heaven.”
