Man Charged After Mental Health Patient Dies Following Attack

A 26-year-old man has been charged after a patient at a mental health facility died from injuries sustained in an attack.

Suspect Arrested After Police Appeal

Ronnell Dennis, of Pield Heath Road, Hillingdon, was arrested on Monday, 2 March, following a police appeal to locate him. He was initially suspected of attempted murder.

Victim Dies, Suspect Faces Court

Dennis was formally charged with attempted murder on Tuesday, 3 March. Tragically, the victim died from his injuries the following day, Wednesday, 4 March.

Next of kin have been informed, though formal identification is yet to take place.

Remanded in Custody

Dennis appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 4 March. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 1 April.
