Basingstoke Assault: Police Hunt Two Knife-Wielding Men
Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a man was knifed in a shocking assault in Basingstoke.
The attack happened just after midnight on 10 June near Sycamore Drive. Officers arrived to find a 31-year-old man with a knife wound to his hand. Luckily, the injury isn’t life-threatening.
Two Masked Men Shout Abuse Before Knife Attack
The victim was out with two friends when two unknown men started shouting at them before launching the attack. One of the suspects pulled a knife and slashed the man’s hand before both fled towards Sycamore Way.
Police Description of Knife Attack Suspects
- White man, 18-22 years old, around 6ft tall, slim build. Wearing a dark hoodie, lighter tracksuit bottoms, and either a hat or hood covering his head.
- White man, 18-22 years old, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 11ins, stocky build, wearing a jacket.
