Taxi Driver Brutally Attacked in Swindon – Police Seek Witnesses

Police are hunting witnesses after a taxi driver was seriously assaulted outside Swindon’s Jurys Inn in the early hours of May 13.

Violent Attack Outside Jurys Inn

At around 1.15am, two male passengers attacked the driver, a man in his 40s, leaving him with head and facial injuries. He was rushed to Great Western Hospital and is still in pain from the assault.

Suspects Arrested but Released Under Investigation

Two men, aged 18 and 19 from Surrey, were arrested on suspicion of assault. Both have been questioned and released under investigation as enquiries continue.
