Taxi Driver Assaulted Outside Swindon Hotel

Police are hunting witnesses after a taxi driver was brutally attacked in Swindon in the early hours of May 13.

Attack Unfolds Outside Jurys Inn

At around 1.15am, two male passengers in a taxi turned violent outside the Jurys Inn on Fleming Way. The driver, a man in his 40s, was viciously assaulted, suffering head and facial injuries.

He was rushed to Great Western Hospital and continues to endure pain from the attack.

Two Surrey Men Arrested, Investigation Ongoing

Police arrested two men aged 18 and 19 from Surrey on suspicion of assault. Both have been questioned and released under investigation as enquiries press on.

Officers Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives believe passersby on foot or in vehicles may have seen something crucial.
