Gruesome attack in Diana Gardens

A food delivery driver in his 60s was viciously pushed down over a dozen concrete steps while dropping off an order on Saturday, 10 February. The victim suffered multiple head and back injuries and is still in hospital.

Suspect arrested but now out on bail

Kent Police swooped on the scene at Diana Gardens around 7.20pm and arrested a man on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. However, the suspect was released on bail and is due to return on 11 May.

Police hunting witnesses and dashcam footage

Detectives are urging anyone who saw the attack or captured dashcam or CCTV footage nearby to come forward. They want to piece together what led to the brutal fall.
