Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Crash Near Camber

Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash in East Sussex on Monday, August 12.

Tragic Crash on Jury’s Gap Road

Shortly after 12:20pm, emergency teams rushed to Jury’s Gap Road, east of Camber, following a collision between a lorry and a motorcycle. A 47-year-old motorcyclist from Hythe, Kent, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

The lorry driver, a 46-year-old man from Romney Marsh, Kent, escaped unscathed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Sussex Police shut the road temporarily for their probe, which has now reopened. They urgently want anyone who saw the crash or has CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage from the area to come forward.
