Violent Bat Attack Sparks Chaos on Pencester Road
Saturday night took a nasty turn on Pencester Road at around 7.15pm on April 16, 2022. Trouble exploded between two cars – a black BMW 116 parked outside some shops and a black Seat Toledo that rolled up alongside it.
Brawl Breaks Out After Short Exchange
After a brief heated exchange, the Seat drove 20 to 30 metres away before screeching to a halt. Four men jumped out, stormed back towards the BMW, and smashed it with what witnesses say was a baseball bat.
They then jumped back into the Seat and sped off – but disaster struck again when they allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a taxi.
No Injuries, But Four Arrested Over Violent Disorder
Thankfully, no one was hurt in either the attack or the subsequent crash. Police quickly arrested four men aged 18 to 21 from Dover, Ashford, and Deal. They’re now on bail pending further investigations, expected to continue until May 9.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage
Officers are sifting through seized CCTV and urge anyone with info or private videos – dashcams or phone footage – to come forward urgently.
