The family of Julia Burns, 31, from Feltham are “unimaginably heartbroken” after she died months following a tragic crash with an e-bike.

Fatal E-Bike Crash on Elmwood Avenue

The horrific collision happened on the evening of September 29, 2024, at around 7.45pm on Elmwood Avenue. Julia was hit by an e-bike while walking and suffered serious injuries. She was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away on February 13, months later. The e-bike rider fled the scene before police arrived.

19-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Julia’s Death

On July 24, police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail but faces further investigation in October. Detectives are urging witnesses to come forward.

“Even the smallest detail could make a difference,” said Detective Constable Sarah Royle from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

Family’s Heartbreaking Plea for Justice

“Our family is devastated by the tragic loss of our beloved Julia. Her absence has left a void in our lives that can never be filled,” the family said.

“Julia was the heart and soul of our family. No family should have to watch a loved one suffer the way she did. We are pleading with anyone who may have information to please come forward. Your courage and compassion could help bring justice for Julia.”
