Teen Bitten by Dog at Mile End Bus Stop

Just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, paramedics rushed to a bus stop on Burdett Road, Mile End, opposite the Mile End Leisure Centre. They found a 13-year-old boy with bite wounds.

He was quickly taken to hospital. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the teen’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Police Hunt Dog Owner After Incident

Paramedics called police at 3:55 p.m. after treating the boy. Officers attended the scene and recovered the dog involved. The hunt for the owner is still on.

“Officers were present. The 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment; his injuries are not considered life-threatening. The search for the owner is ongoing. Police have recovered the dog,” said a Met spokesperson.
