Fake Police Car Sparks Chaos in Farnborough Crash
Police were scrambled after a dodgy vehicle pretending to be a police car was spotted in Farnborough. The car reportedly had blue flashing lights on its roof, sparking immediate suspicion.
Crash and Cannabis Discovery
The drama unfolded around 5.35pm on Tuesday, December 6, when officers were called to a collision on Invincible Road involving a Land Rover and a van. After the crash, two men jumped out of the Land Rover and tried, but failed, to break into the Peugeot van.
Inside the van, officers found cannabis, adding another twist to the story.
Damage Spreads Across B&Q Car Park
The chaos didn’t stop there. Another nearby vehicle suffered damage, a window at the B&Q store was smashed, and several bollards were also wrecked during the incident.
Man Arrested Over Robbery Plot
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed they arrested a 31-year-old man from Aldershot on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. He was later released under investigation as enquiries continue.
“We have received a number of responses, including video footage, from members of the public since our appeal yesterday,” said a police spokesman.
