On Thursday, March 23, Paul Banbury was reported missing in Hastings. Police described his disappearance as “out of character,” sparking an urgent search in the local Firehills area where he was last thought to be seen.
Body Found, Search Called Off
Just two days later, on March 25, police confirmed the grim discovery of a body believed to be Paul’s. Following this, authorities called off the search, bringing a heartbreaking close to the case.
No Suspicion Around Death
“The death of Paul is not being treated as suspicious,” said a Sussex Police spokesman. “Our hearts go out to Paul’s family and friends.”
The matter has now been passed to the coroner for further investigation.
