Knife Crime Team Snaps Up Cocaine and Cash
A routine patrol by the county knife crime squad turned into a major drug bust in Worksop. Officers spotted a suspicious car cruising through Cheapside and decided to pull it over.
When they searched the vehicle and its occupants, their suspicions were quickly confirmed. One man was caught trying to hide large amounts of Class A cocaine under his clothes.
Two Men Arrested with Stacks of Cash and Phones
The stop, which happened around 2.20pm on Monday, also uncovered piles of cash and several mobile phones inside the car. Two men, aged 28 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

“This is a prime example of how stop and search can catch criminals who might’ve slipped through the cracks,” said Sergeant Jonny Groves.
“Our team works daily on intelligence-led patrols targeting people carrying knives or weapons. Often, we uncover drugs and other illegal items as well.
