Police rushed to Tooley Street at the junction with Queen Elizabeth Street, SE1, after a collision between a moped and a female pedestrian on Tuesday morning.

Pedestrian Hurt but Stable

The London Ambulance Service called police at 10:58am following the crash. The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Thankfully, officials say her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Moped Rider Arrested on Driving Offences

The moped driver was promptly arrested on suspicion of driving offences. Authorities have not yet released further details about the charges.
