Woman in 30s Dies After Cardiac Arrest at Meir Home

Police rushed to a property on South Walk, Meir, around midday on Thursday 12 November after reports of a woman in her 30s in cardiac arrest.

She was quickly taken to hospital but tragically died the following morning, Friday 13 November.

Man Arrested as Investigation Continues

A 35-year-old man from Sandwell, West Midlands, has been arrested in connection with the woman’s death. He was released on conditional bail while police carry out further inquiries.

Family Supported by Specially-Trained Officers

Officers specially trained to handle trauma are supporting the woman’s family during this heartbreaking time. Formal identification is expected to take place soon.
