Police are cracking down on a shed burglary spree in Durham Close, where around 16 sheds were targeted between March 31 and April 2, 2022.

Massive Shed Raid in Durham Close

Officers launched an investigation after multiple reports surfaced of sheds being broken into. The full haul is still being tallied, but thieves made off with automotive tools, a blue trolley jack in a black plastic case, and a 2ft high dark teak wooden clock.

Suspect Caught Napping in Stolen Goods

On April 5 at around 3.20pm, police were called back to Durham Close after a man was found asleep inside a shed. Inside, officers discovered hockey sticks, a crowbar, and various tools believed to have been stolen during the break-ins.

Man Arrested and Held on Burglary Charges

A 33-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He remains in custody as inquiries continue.
