Urgent Hunt Underway for Dangerous Terror Suspect Who Fled Prison
Police are scrambling to find 21-year-old Daniel Abed Khalife after his daring escape from HMP Wandsworth early this morning, Wednesday 6 September.
Terror Suspect on the Loose
Khalife, held on remand for terrorism and Official Secrets Act offences, vanished from the prison at around 7.50am. Officers fear he could still be in London but haven’t ruled out him travelling further.
How to Spot Khalife
- Slim build, around 6ft 2ins tall
- Short brown hair
- Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red and white checkered trousers, and brown steel toe-capped boots
He has known ties to the Kingston area. Authorities urge everyone to stay vigilant.
Police Plea: Don’t Approach – Call 999
Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, said: “We are urgently working to track him down. The public can help by calling 999 immediately if they spot him but must not approach.”
He added: “We have no reason to believe Khalife poses a threat to the wider public. Still, please don’t try to apprehend him yourself. Call 999 quoting reference CAD 1631/06SEP23.”
Anyone with information, even unrelated to sightings, is urged to come forward to aid the investigation.
