Man Stabbed to Death in Kenley Horror
Police rushed to a stabbing on Oaks Road, Kenley, after the London Ambulance Service called at 6.15pm on Friday, 20 November.
Emergency teams battled to save 45-year-old Paul McCarroll, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by 6.50pm.
Suspect Arrested and Under Custody
A 34-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder. He suffered a minor injury, was treated at a south London hospital, and is now in custody.
Police confirmed the victim and suspect know each other.
Investigation Underway
Specialist Crime Command detectives are leading the probe. A crime scene remains in place as enquiries continue.
Paul’s family have been informed and are receiving support from trained officers. A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.
