Man in His 30s Dies After Assault in Kent

Kent Police were called at 4.55pm on Monday 1 April 2024 after a man in his 30s was found injured at a High Street property. He was airlifted to a London hospital but later died from his injuries.

Attack May Have Happened Hours Earlier

Police believe the victim was assaulted earlier the same day, between 11am and 2pm, on Magpie Hall Road near the Newnham 123 junction.

One Arrest Made, Another Released

On Thursday 4 April, a 43-year-old local man was arrested in connection with the incident. A second man, detained on 1 April, was released without charge.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Officers urge anyone who saw either incident to come forward. Drivers with dashcams and residents with private CCTV in the area are asked to review their footage for clues.
