Kent Police Crack Down on County Lines in Grave Gravesend and Dartford Raids
Kent Police launched a massive blitz on county lines crime last week, executing eight search warrants across Gravesend and Dartford on 27 and 28 July 2021.
Five Arrested, Drugs and Phones Seized
The raids led to five arrests and the seizure of crack cocaine, heroin, and mobile phones linked to drug dealing at a house in Dartford. Officers from the County Lines and Gangs Team spearheaded the operation, showing zero tolerance for violent crime tied to drug networks.
Strong Words from Detective Superintendent Shaun White
“We want to send a clear message to those involved in violent and county line crime that we will not tolerate their behaviour,” said Detective Superintendent Shaun White.
White highlighted the team’s impressive track record: “In the last year, we have made over 120 arrests, seized thousands of pounds in cash, and removed weapons from the streets.”
He warned criminals bluntly: “Our efforts do not stop here. It’s not a question of if you will be arrested, but when.”
Relentless Pursuit to Clean Up Kent
The force and partner agencies remain committed to dismantling drug networks that exploit vulnerable people and fuel violence. Their mission is clear – to restore safety to Kent’s communities and shut down the misery peddled by class A drug dealers once and for all.
