Shocking Assault at Maidstone Tesco Over Unpaid Wine
A CCTV snap has been released after a shop worker was reportedly attacked at Tesco Express in Maidstone.
Man Caught Stealing Wine Bottles
Just after 9.30pm on Friday 5 June 2020, a man walked into the Week Street store and picked up three bottles of wine. He then tried to leave without paying for two of them at the self-service checkout.
Worker Assaulted and Threatened
A brave staff member challenged the man outside the shop. The suspect allegedly lashed out, assaulting the worker and threatening to strike him with one of the bottles before dashing off.
Police Hunt Suspect Caught on CCTV
