Shots Fired Twice in South East London: Teenage Boy Hurt by Flying Glass

Gunshots in Brockley Rise

Police were scrambled to Brockley Rise, SE23, at 9.52pm on Monday, 12 December following reports of gunfire. Witnesses spotted a group of males arguing, with one firing shots into the air.

Officers rushed to the scene but the suspects had already fled. No one was reported injured from this first incident. Several shell casings were recovered from the area.

Teen Injured in Dursley Road Shootout

Just over an hour later, at 11.15pm, police were called again—this time to Dursley Road, SE3—where shots were fired through a window.

A teenage boy was wounded by glass shards in the attack. He was taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.

Police Investigate Possible Link

There have been no arrests so far. Officers are probing whether the two gunfire incidents are connected.
