Teenager Hurt After Shots Fired in South East London Double Shooting Spree
Gunfire Erupts on Brockley Rise
Police were scrambled to Brockley Rise, SE23, at 9.52pm on Monday following reports of a violent dispute involving a group of males—one reportedly firing a gun into the air. Officers launched an immediate search but the suspects had vanished.
No injuries were reported at this scene, though several shell casings were recovered.
Glass Shards Injure Teen After Second Shooting
Just over an hour later, at 11.15pm, officers rushed to Dursley Road, SE3, after another gunshot was reported. This time, shots were fired through a window, injuring a teenage boy with flying glass.
The victim was taken to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening. No other casualties were reported.
Police Probe Possible Links Between Shootings
So far, no arrests have been made. Police are investigating whether the two firearm discharges are connected.
