Tragic Death of Toddler in Castle Heights Estate
A heartbreaking accident struck Carrick-on-Suir on Tuesday afternoon. Around 4pm, a little girl playing near her home was hit by a bus in the Castle Heights estate.
Child Pronounced Dead at Scene
Despite efforts to save her, the toddler was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. Her body has been taken to South Tipperary General Hospital for a post mortem examination.
Police Hunt Witnesses with Dashcam Footage
The area remains sealed off for forensic examination. Gardaí in Carrick-on-Suir are urgently appealing to anyone who saw the incident or has mobile phone or dashcam footage to come forward.
