Pensioner Dies After Horrific Crash with Bus in Norwich City Centre
Tragic Incident on St Stephen’s Street
A 92-year-old woman has died following a serious collision with a bus in Norwich city centre on Saturday, 14 January 2023.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 11:13 a.m. at the crossroads of St Stephen’s Street and Surrey Street after reports of the crash. The pensioner was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries
Despite efforts to save her, the elderly woman passed away in hospital on Monday evening, 16 January 2023.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision or who has dashcam footage. They’re urging witnesses to help with their ongoing investigation.
