Violence Erupts at Flint Town United Match – Game Abandoned

Chaos broke out shortly after 5.30pm on Saturday, April 8th, at the JD Cymru Premier clash between Flint Town United and Caernarfon Town at Flint’s Essity Stadium.

Police rushed to the scene after reports of fan disorder. A man suffered serious injuries during the mayhem and was rushed to Aintree hospital.

Heavy Police Presence as Disorder Continues

The match was abandoned amid the trouble, with a strong police contingent still securing the area. North Wales Police teamed up with British Transport Police to maintain order at Flint Train Station and prevent further flare-ups.

24-Hour Dispersal Order Declared Across Flint

In response to the violence, authorities have imposed a 24-hour dispersal order across Flint town running until 6.30pm Sunday, April 9th. This empowers officers and PCSOs to break up groups and order them to leave under Section 34 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Anyone who defies the order faces arrest.
