Midnight Attack Shock: Young Couple Assaulted on High Street
Just after midnight on Saturday 14 May 2022, trouble erupted on a busy high street. A young man and woman in their 20s got into a tense verbal spat with an unknown woman. They then tried to walk away—only for danger to strike moments later.
Four Men Jump Out and Launch Attack
A black Land Rover Freelander screeched to a halt nearby. Four men jumped out and viciously attacked the couple. The woman escaped with minor injuries. But the man wasn’t as lucky—he suffered serious facial wounds and was rushed to hospital.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Kent Police are combing through CCTV footage and scouring the area for clues. They want anyone who was on the high street around midnight to come forward.
