Man Stabbed on Kilburn High Road Sparks Met Police Probe
A man was left bleeding heavily after a brutal stabbing on North London’s Kilburn High Road late Sunday night. Police and paramedics raced to the scene just before 10:30pm at the junction with Brondesbury Villas.
Passersby Step In to Save Stabbing Victim
Witnesses spotted the injured man lying on the pavement, losing large amounts of blood. They rushed to help while officers arrived and started life-saving first aid. Paramedics from London Ambulance Service then took over treatment. The severity of the victim’s injuries remains unclear.
Heightened Police Vigilance After Earlier Knife Attack
This incident follows a stabbing earlier the same day, when a 17-year-old was found injured in Rowley Way, NW8 – just a mile from Kilburn High Road. In response, the Met Police activated a Section 60 order from 2pm to 5am covering NW6 and NW8 postcodes due to rising tensions.
Now, a fresh Section 60 has been issued by Acting Inspector Thackham over serious violence reports. This patrol run covers areas including Kilburn, Queens Park, Brondesbury Park, Kensal Green, Childs Hill, Willesden Green, and Harlesden from 11pm Sunday until 7am Monday.
Met Police Continue Investigation
The Met has launched a full investigation. Officers are stepping up patrols to tackle knife crime in the area. The force has been approached for further comment.
