Punch-Up After Bracknell Boxing Show Leaves 11 Injured
Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty affray involving up to 50 spectators broke out at Bracknell Leisure Centre. The brawl erupted between 10.30pm and 11pm on Sunday (17/3), right after the final boxing match of the night.
Massive Melee Erupts Post-Fight
Eleven men aged 21 to 49 have come forward with injuries, though cops fear more victims may be hidden in the chaos. The chaos apparently involved a mixed crowd of white and black males ranging from late teens to fifties.
Speedy Getaway and Knife Rumours
PC James Doel from Maidenhead CID revealed a small black car sped from the scene as emergency services arrived. While locals reported knives being brandished, no weapons have been found so far.
Police Plea: Speak Up or Call 101
“This was an incident in which members of the public and security staff at the venue were attacked, and this behaviour is clearly unacceptable,” said PC Doel.
Police urge anyone who saw the fight or has footage on their phone to come forward. If you suffered injuries but haven’t contacted police yet, do so now. Any detail, no matter how small, could help the ongoing investigation.
