Hackney Nocturnal Nightmare: Noxious Substance Shambles Sparks Police Hunt
Police are on the hunt after a nasty assault involving a noxious substance erupted in Hackney at the crack of dawn last Sunday. At roughly 5:20 am on 6 May, a heated brawl between two male groups flared up at the Shacklewell Lane and Alvington Crescent junction.
Three Victims Hurt, Hospitalised
Cops rushing to the scene found three males aged 17, 22, and 27 suffering from injuries caused by the mysterious substance. All were rushed by ambulance to an east London hospital. Thankfully, their injuries aren’t life-threatening, but medics are unsure if the damage could spell long-term problems.
Police Urge Witnesses and Video Footage to Come Forward
Detective Sergeant Quinn Cutler, leading the probe, said: “This is a particularly vicious and unpleasant incident which has left a number of people with potentially lasting injuries. I know a number of people witnessed this incident and I urge those people to come forward and share their information and/or footage with police.”
