Man in 50s Bitten by Alsatian on Normanton Street

Derbyshire police sprang into action at 2.45pm on Friday, 1 September, following a dog attack on Sackville Street, Normanton. A man in his 50s was bitten on the hand by an Alsatian while out for a walk.

Officers are urgently seeking the dog’s owner, identified by a silver-coloured collar. They want to speak to them to crack the case and get to the bottom of what sparked the attack.
