Armed Police Arrest Trio After Masked Men Scale Roof in Kent
Armed cops swooped on Kings Hill, West Malling, on Saturday after three masked men were spotted climbing the roof of an abandoned building.

Kent Police were called to Tower View, Kings Hill, at 3.31pm on 16 August following reports of a disturbance inside. Armed units, police dogs, and emergency vehicles flooded the area as the drama unfolded.
Photos circulated on social media showed the balaclava-clad men standing atop the building, while dozens of locals gathered to watch the tense standoff.
Three Arrested on Suspicion of Burglary
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
“Officers attended the scene where three people were found to have climbed to the roof of the building. Three men have since been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They remain in custody pending further enquiries.”
The operation stretched into the night as parts of Tower View were cordoned off. Witnesses described seeing “a ton of armed police and police dogs” surrounding the site, with many saying it felt “like something out of a film.”
The suspects, dressed in black and with faces covered, were safely brought down and detained. No injuries were reported, and police investigations are ongoing.
